Zuzia Kudasik

Art Director

Zuzia Kudasik is a Polish-American Graphic and Illustrative designer based in Denver. While she has always been artistically inclined, it wasn’t until she discovered graphic design that she discovered her passion in life. She studied graphic design at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, where she immediately embraced the ways of “design thinking.” She is intrigued by communication, and, through personal experiences, she knew that the field of efficient communication was the best choice for her. She is an ambitious graphic designer with experience in environmental and sustainable design practices. Growing up in the mountains, nature has always been a major source of inspiration for her, and she bring organic processes to her design work.

Callie Newton

Story & Content Crafter

Callie Newton holds a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She started her career writing for journals, magazines, and newspapers; and while her career has taken many twists and turns since then, a curiosity about people and a passion for justice has been a strong throughline. She loves working with people who are passionate about what they do, and about making the world a better place.

In addition to her duties at Towards A Better World, Callie also works at Lighthouse Transitional Care as the director of marketing and communications, and a hands-on mentor and advocate for youth aging out of orphanages and foster homes.

In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and their pets and indulges in too many hobbies including reading, writing fiction and poetry, cooking, baking, lifting weights, running, rock climbing, and playing cozy video games.

Cat Stickler

Copywriting

Words and stories are Cat’s playground. As a copywriter, messaging strategist, and SEO specialist at Towards a Better World, Cat helps our clients find their voice, clearly articulate their message, and share their stories in ways that grow community.

Outside of TABW, she creates puzzles and games for escape rooms and game studios, ghostwrites and copy edits books for publishers, and grows her own creative studio where she shares poetry, short stories, tabletop role-playing games, and video games inspired by her love of spooky folklore and the macabre plus her own struggles with OCD.

In between Star Trek marathons, obsessively listening to Dark Souls lore theories, and smashing steel at her local forge to make Klingon weapons, she’s usually found either reading, stargazing, or wandering forest trails in the Wasatch Mountains in my backyard with her two kids, hugging trees and collecting bits of inspiration for her next creative project. Live long and prosper! 🖖🏼

Luke Palmer

Web Development

Luke Palmer grew up in Boulder, CO.  At age 14 he simultaneously became interested in computer programming and piano as a way of avoiding his schoolwork. In high school he found community in the Perl programming language, serving on the Perl 6 language design team and speaking at the O'Reilly Open Source Convention (OSCON) before he turned 19.  He went on to work as a Google software engineer, and then quit and moved to New Orleans to deepen his musicianship.  Now he splits his time between playing with his bands in the clubs of Frenchmen Street, writing and practicing his solo piano music, and helping small businesses make the world a better place with Towards a Better World.
