Meet Moriah: Founder of Towards a Better World, L.L.C.

Moriah’s life-long commitment to creating a more just and equitable world led her to create Towards a Better World, L.L.C.
Moriah studied yoga, meditation, and peace studies at Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired university in Boulder, Colorado. There, she learned to fight for a more just world in a way which is sustainable and keeps burnout at bay, a skill which she shares with all of her clients. After graduation, Moriah served as a yoga instructor and Executive Director at the Santa Fe Community Yoga Center, a nonprofit yoga studio dedicated to making wellness practices accessible to all.
After spending several years at the Center, Moriah sought an outlet to create greater systemic change. She returned to Boulder to earn an M.A. in Religious Studies and a J.D. During her studies, Moriah focused on the intersection of law and religion, ultimately publishing a thesis regarding religious organizations’ role in American legislation. Additionally, Moriah worked for civil rights firms and nonprofits in Denver, Seattle, and Santa Clara, where she had the opportunity to defend clients’ civil liberties.
While working with social-justice oriented organizations, Moriah noticed many of her colleagues had neither the time nor the skills to implement successful digital marketing strategies. She knew the impact of these organizations would be greater if they could successfully leverage tools like social media, SEO, and email marketing.
Thus, she founded Towards a Better World, L.L.C. to provide high-quality, affordable digital marketing support to the organizations who need it most: those who are fighting to make the world a better place.
In her free time, Moriah practices yoga, works with oil paint, and creates textile-based art.
